PETER BUSS
Manager, Agronomic R&D
A co-founder of Sentek Pty Ltd and an "inventor" of Sentek's intellectual property, Mr Buss possesses a Degree
of Engineer in International Agronomy, a Masters of Arts from the Free University of West Berlin and a Masters of
Science in Rural Science from the University of New England, NSW. Mr Buss is an international authority on agriculture
and irrigation systems (with many published papers) and is responsible for the agronomic and soil science activities in
Sentek. Peter is involved in the conceptual development of product, product testing and responsible for distributor
training, industry education and international liaison with research organisations and overall agronomic support.
Peter has worked as an agronomist and supervisor/manager in the private and public sectors. For some years, he was
Chairman of the Sentek Board.
NICK KTORIS
Chief Executive Officer
Mr Ktoris joined Sentek
in February 2000, with responsibility for all financial and administration matters, including human resources. In February 2007 he was appointed as Chief Operating Officer, reporting to the board on all operational aspects of the business. His sound business acumen and skills, as well as his substantial experience within Sentek led to his appointment as CEO in March 2010, taking on overall responsibility for overseeing the management and direction of the company.
Prior to joining Sentek,
Nick had worked as Finance and Administration Manager in the areas of transport and manufacturing.
Nick Ktoris has a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting from the University of South Australia, and is a
Fellow Member of the Society of Certified Practising Accountants (FCPA) and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
ROB GUY
General Manager - Sales and Marketing
Rob Guy has been working for over 20 years in areas including forestry,irrigation and natural resources research, training,
consulting and operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Hydrology and Soil Science and also a Bachelor of Commerce degree and teaching qualifications.
He has worked with Sentek for over 5 years in the research, agronomic training and sales departments.
JAMES BUOB
Production & Logistics Manager
Mr Buob commenced his employment with Sentek in 1997. Since this time, James has been involved from the ground up with
the ongoing advancement of Sentek's product range. Playing a pivotal role in the design, testing and release of all new
product innovations from the Diviner to the Salinity sensor. With over 12 years' experience at Sentek, Mr Buob has held
the following roles: Electronics technician, Hardware Solutions & Support Coordinator, Associate Electronic Engineer,
Hardware Design Coordinator and for the past few years Production & Logistics Manager. James brings to the position an
in-depth knowledge of the workings of the Sentek product range along with his extensive IT background.
James Buob has an Associate Diploma in Electronic Engineering, a Graduate Certificate In Building and Planning and a Post
Graduate Diploma in Project Management from the University of South Australia.
